I used to leave a window open at night because Bubbles likes to run around outside. However recently he got into fights with several stray cats that also like to run around at night. So I've decided that he has to come inside when I go to bed, around 1am. At this time he is still full of energy and will do anyting to get me to play with him. Here he crawled underneath the blanket and is waiting in anticipation for me to supply something for him to attack.
If you love cats you should get a copy of this little book 'How to live with a calculating cat' by Eric Gurney. It was first published in the 1960s and you can get an used copy on e-Bay or Amazon for less than $5 (including shipping). Let me know whether you like it.
My sister came to visit me in the US, all the way from Africa. My "Africa" cats, Crinkle and Babatjie now live with her on the farm. While packing, Babatjie climbed in her bag and I say she wanted to come visit me.
Crinkle and Babatjie all cozy in their basket. They are currently living with my parents on the farm. They were both born and grew up in an apartment, but adjusted to farm-life in no time. Especially Babatjie loves to catch mice and go outside, while Crinkle is more interested in keeping watch over the refrigirator.
