Well, I did it. I brought the little manx into the house. Yes, I know I'm crazy, but I just could not stand looking at her outside in the cold. In any case, I took her to my vet and the good news is that she is not pregnant and had negative combo-test. She was treated for ear-mites and intestinal worms. At the moment I have her set up in a spare bedroom. I will be out of town for a few days and didn't want to let the BMTs loose on her if I'm not here. It doesn't mean I'm keeping her! She is still on the waiting list at the no-kill shelter. We will see how she adapts here, but ideally I want to find her a home. At least she is cozy and warm inside, although a bit lonely in a room by herself, but that's the best I can do for now.

Aaah that's better, nice 'n cosy 'n safe inside!
What a lucky little cat she is!
You are so good.
She is adorable, looks kinda like Dobby!
She is so cute and healthy too...she fits right in there...maybe you should! Have a great weekend!!!
She's very luck to have found you.
Aw, she's so cute! And it was very nice of you to bring her inside...we hope you can find a home for her!
You have a good heart to bring that little cat inside and getting her medical care.
Oh, she's adorable, with her little pom pom of a tail. Is that storage box with the hole in the side filled with straw? Like what people make for feral cat colonies? So it's something she is familiar with? That is comforting for her, we are sure.
Saw your comment on Chey's blog recognizing Table Mountain and saying you BBQed on that beach! Small world. I take it you are South African now living in the USA?
Nice to meet you all - with kitties.
