Scary Thursday

Madness here. Friends I'm lucky to be alive to blog today. The most horrible thing happened yesterday. This might be too scary for the real little ones, so maybe you want to stop them reading right now.

So, yesterday I was downstairs in the courtyard with Freak and Bubbles. It was totally OK, cause Freak said it was outside time and she was right there with us. Then suddenly I saw the most horrible monster running towards us! I ran back home as quick as a little girl cat can. (That means very, very fast.) But Freak and Bubbles did not make it! I heard Freak make weird noises. It sounded like laughing, but surely it was screams of terror. And when I looked into the courtyard from the safety of the window I saw that she was being eaten by the horrible monster! And Bubbles was right there - frozen in fear.

After what seemed like a very long time, the horrible monster left and somehow the freak survived. (I told you there was something weird about her.) Even Bubbles came through the ordeal without a scratch. I went out and asked why did they not run away? They laughed and said that it was only Gracie and she was a friendly woofie. I ask you: “Does this look like a friendly woofie?” Just look at those murderous brown eyes and ravenous mouth!

Bubbles said that it’s good to be careful around woofies, ‘cause some of them are not nice to cats, but that Gracie is a sweet doggie. But I think this is just another plan from Bubbles to get rid of me! Well Bubbles, I’m too smart for that! I’m not going near that monster.

Oh Madness, I'm so happy you were so fast to run away! I agree with you, woofies are not to be trusted....I mean look at that open mouth!

Awww, she looks like a nice woofie. Maybe you should give her a kiss. That's what my kitties keep doing to me. (It gets kind of annoying after the squillionth time Riley does it. Tiki does it once or twice and knows when to stop.)

I was a little worried at first, I admit. But then once I saw Gracie was a good woofie I was smiling. I love good cat loving woofies. Madness, you have a lot to learn, lol. :)

Madness, I feel you. But really? Max and Coco look kinda scary, too, but they seem to be friendly. Merlin isn't afraid of them. I still keep a close on them, and I'm not getting to close, but I don't run away anymore.

Yup, it's good to be careful around woofies but we have many woofie frends in our nayborhood. Der wuz Butkis and Max and da little woofie across da street who wuz da same size as me and da grate big woofie named Nanook who we've known since she wuz a little puppy. Den der are da dogs dat walk by and we don't trust dem! Dey mite be okay but we'z neffur met 'em so we'z furry careful.

Madness, I'm glad that you are safe, and that Bubbles and your human are safe too. Some woofies can definitely be dangerous, but others are nice. My breeder had two woofies and they were very friendly. But with strange woofies you never know.

ooo always be careful with strange woofies, but I'm sure your mommy "the freak" wouldn't ever let anything happen to you. *shudder* I am, I mean Bendrix is, terrified of dogs. Mommy & the VET think I must've had an awful scare when I was feral.
Gracie looks nice, but you run away if you want to madness.

I'm wif you, Madness! There are two big yello curly woofies next door an I'm keepin an eye on them. One of them was barkin at mine mom. An the only time Mom's efur seen me hiss was when a nosy woofie was tryin to inhale me at the vet. You can't be too careful!

Madness, this is exactly why our Mom won't let us out. She's afraid we might get attacked by a cat-eating monster!

Mum says you always need to be careful around woofies. Even the ones you know.

Woofies are very unpredictable

That woofie doesn't scare me. I live with bunches of woofies. I'm bigger than most of them. But, you should be careful with a woofie until you know that the woofie is safe to be around.

Monica and I have three dogs that live next door to us. Now that we got Outside, we have had a talk with each of them and come to an understanding. But they are all much smaller than this "Gracie" dog. We have 4 big dogs in the Pablo Fan Club, but we are very glad that they don't live nearby...
