Cat Litter

I was wondering whether anybody has any good ideas about alternatives to clumping cat litter. I've tried the Breeze box, but my cats refuse to use it. Preferably something "natural", like pine, but I've never tried is so has no idea whether it is practical.

Any ideas?

We've tried bunches but we usually try to each the strange looking stuff so we're back with Swheat, our fav! Have a great weekend!

kintaro like the world's best cat litter which is made from wheat. yuki will only use the breeze box. tt uses both types. the one thing i like about the litter is that it doesn't have all the dust and it doesn't smell like most litters. i did buy the feline pine clumping but the smell bothered my husband's nose and i think one of the cats didn't care for it at all. the other two were fine.

We use Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Ultra litter. It's hypoallergenic and dust free. The cats love it. We tried World's Best, but the cats wouldn't use it. And they wouldn't use the Feline Pine either.

The Furrydance cats are currently using Cats Pride Natural (they make about 3 different varieties but mine like the natural the best--unscented is why). It is a clumping litter without silica.

The don't like the pine variety litter, whether it is pellets or not. They don't like Worlds Best or Swheat Scoop but I do use those two when I have kittens as it is safe if they eat it and kittens always go through a stage where they lick at litter...

They don't like the crystal litter, too rough on their naked paws but I do use in the the car litterbox when I travel as it's easy to vacuum up.

When I say they don't like a litter, I really mean I find they pee outside the box when I use them, hahameow. Another thing that has made a big difference in good litterbox use, is having all open litterboxes with no tops.

We used to use the crystal litter but changed because of Harley's EGC we wanted a perfume and dye free litter. After trying a few types, we ended up with Feline Pine clumping. It is inexpensive, lightweight, lasts a long time, and you can get it from the grocery store. It does tend to track because it's so light though.
